Message from the President
Thanks for checking out the Colorado Springs NARPM web site. I am honored to be the 2021 Chapter President just as I was honored to be the Chapter President in 2006. A lot has changed since my first Presidency but one thing has not, the need for communication and education within the property management industry.
Today was have many more tools allowing us to communicate better with our clients, colleagues and other industry professionals. This is extremely important right now as the Bills proposed in the 2021 Colorado Legislative Session could have a huge affect on how our industry is able to operate. All Colorado Chapters of NARPM are part of the Colorado Landlord Legislative Coalition (CLLC) and I encourage you to check out the CLLC to get the latest communication coming from our industry lobbyist, William Mutch. You can check out the CLLC at https://coloradolandlordlegislativecoalition.org/for-immediate-release/ while you are there take 2 minutes and join us today as we work together for fair legislative policy with protections for both Tenants and Landlords. Being a part of the NARPM and the CLLC not only allows you to have the latest information regarding legislation but access to education.
Even without meeting in person we have great Zoom presentation monthly from industry experts on various topics directly relating to property management in addition to a general business topic. We are moving forward and planning on holding the annual Landlord Symposium in September of this year which will offer 7 hours of Colorado CE credit. In addition we are working with Cox-Education and sponsoring property management classes on line. If for some reason your not into education but fun is make a note and come join us for our July 17th mid-day social. We will be raising funds for the Bob Telmosse Foundation, have a live band, activities and food. After a year of being socially distanced, it's time bring the whole family and get together for some good old social time. Let's be the best we can be in 2021!
Best Regards, Rob Lynde MPM, RPM, CRMC, President, CSNARPM
