Message from the President
Dear Colorado Springs NARPM Members, Affiliates and Guests:
As you all know, the health and safety of our members will always be our top priority. Based on the current Coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak, and recommendations from the World Health Organization (WHO) and Center for Disease Control (CDC), we are suspending our monthly luncheon gatherings at the Hotel Eleganté, as well as any planned classes until further notice. The Hotel has also been affected by the guidelines and has limited their business. While not an Affiliate, they have been a great host for our group.
As an industry, we are already seeing the impact of COVID-19. For additional help, support, and guidance, we urge our members to take to social media and join any local property management-centric groups. On Facebook, the Colorado Property Managers group and the Council of Elite Property Managers have been very active and are already engaging in conversations regarding the virus and its impact on our businesses. If you haven’t already, please “like” the National NARPM Facebook page as well as our local NARPM Colorado Springs Chapter page. National NARPM has published an email guide for resources and suggestions on how to proceed during this time. Please visit their website at NARPM.org to get the statement.
We take the safety and health of all our members very seriously and will continue to monitor this situation and provide updates as they are available. We thank you for your patience and support. Please keep checking your emails for any updates Colorado Springs NARPM.
We are all in this together, just as we always have been in less uncertain times. We have forged relationships that benefit all of us, and those relationships are what form the backbone of our progress through this situation. Remember a keystone of the NARPM philosophy is to ask for help. Stay safe, make decisions that protect you and others, and we will see you again as a group when it is prudent to do so.
Karen Santee, President, CSNARPM
